Remove the solenoid for the isolation valve (Fig. 401).

(1) Remove the isolation valve for the thrust reverser
(AMM 78-34-05/401).
NOTE: Because of the tight isolation valve installation, it is
____ recommended that you remove the isolation valve to replace the solenoid.

Remove the four socket head screws that attach the solenoid assembly to the isolation valve.

Remove the jumper wire fron the socket head screw (Fig. 401)

Remove the solenoid assembly from the isolation valve module.
NOTE: The plug assembly with the retaining ring and packing will
____ stay in the housing when the solenoid is removed.

(5) Remove the plate gasket.

Install the Solenoid for the Isolation Valve (Fig. 401)

Put the gasket on the isolation valve module.

Install the solenoid on the isolation valve module with the four socket head screws.
(a) Make sure you attach the jumper wire to the correct forward socket head screw (Fig. 401).

Do the procedure to install the Thrust Reverser Hydraulic Isolation Valve (AMM 78-34-05/401).

Put the Airplane Back to its Usual Condition

Do the activation procedure for the thrust reverser
(AMM 78-31-00/201).

(2)
Do the activation procedure for the spoiler/speedbrake control system (AMM 27-62-00/501).
(3)
Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag from the thrust levers.
