Install the Extend Flow Control Tee for the Thrust Reverser (Fig. 401).

Remove the protective caps from the hydraulic lines and DCV ports.

Lubricate the new packing (5) with hydraulic fluid.

Install the packing (5) on the union (4).

Install the union (4) to the extend port of the DCV.

Make sure the directional arrows on the restrictor valves (2) point toward the reducer tee (3).

Make sure the restrictor valves are tightly installed.

Connect the Extend Flow Control Tee to the upper forward face of the DCV.

(2) S 644-048-N02Lubricate the new packing (11) with hydraulic fluid.
(3) S 424-049-N02Install the packing (11) on the union (10).
(4) S 424-050-N02Install the union (10) to the retract port of the DCV.
(5) S 424-051-N02Install the elbow (12) to the reducer tee if it was removed.
(6) S 424-052-N02Install the restrictor valves (8) on the retract reducer tee (9) and the elbow (12) if they were removed. (a) Make sure the directional arrows on the restrictor valves point toward the reducer tee. (b) Make sure the restrictor valves are tightly installed.
(7) S 414-053-N02Connect the Retract Flow Control Tee to the lower, forward face of the DCV.
(8) S 414-054-N02Connect the tube nuts for the hydraulic retract lines (7) to the restrictor valves (8).
(9) S 424-055-N02Tighten the clamp for the hydraulic lines.

Do the activation procedure for the thrust reversers (AMM 78-31-00/201).

Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tags from the thrust levers.
