(3)  S 144-020-N00Rub the flex shafts with a clean, lint-free cloth to remove the contamination.
 (4)  S 424-021-N00Put the flex shaft into the tubing.
NOTE:____ Do not let the flex shafts come out of the tubing.
 (5)  S 434-022-N00Tighten the fasteners on the support block to hold up the retract and extend hydraulic lines.
 (6)  S 434-023-N00Make sure all hydraulic line and flexhose connections are tight.
 (7)  S 414-045-N00Stow the thrust reverser sleeve with hydraulic pressure.
NOTE:____ With the sync lock removed, a small amount of hydraulic fluid will come out of the lower non-locking actuator.
NOTE:____ There are two methods to stow the thrust reverser sleeve which retracts all three actuators. The first method uses airplane hydraulic pressure. The second method uses a ground service cart.
 (8)  S 864-024-N00Apply hydraulic pressure to fully retract all three hydraulic actuators and fully close the reverser sleeve on the applicable thrust reverser half. (a) When you use the airplane hydraulic power, do the steps that follow: 1) Make sure the reverse thrust levers are in the fully forward position with the DO-NOT-OPERATE tags installed on them.
