CAUTION: BE PREPARED TO CATCH THE HYDRAULIC FLUID IN THE APPLICABLE
_______ CONTAINERS. IF THE HYDRAULIC FLUID FALLS INTO THE ENGINE, QUICKLY CLEAN THE ENGINE. IF YOU DO NOT QUICKLY CLEAN THE HYDRAULIC FLUID, THE HYDRAULIC FLUID CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.

Drain the applicable hydraulic system reservoir into the container (Ref 12-12-01/301).

When the hydraulic fluid has drained, close the drain valve.
(a) Install the lockwire on the drain valve.

To get access to the isolation valve installation on the inboard strut, remove the no. 3 forward strut fairing.

To get access to the isolation valve installation on the outboard strut, remove the no. 4 forward strut fairing.

Disconnect the electrical connectors (12).

Disconnect the four hydraulic lines (13).
(a) Install the protection caps on the hydraulic lines (13).

Loosen the brackets on the hydraulic lines as it is necessary to get the correct clearance to remove the isolation valve (1).

To remove the isolation valve, do the steps that follow:
(a)
Remove the two bolts (2), washers (4), and nuts (5) from the isolation valve (1).
(b)
Remove the bolt (2), two washers (3 and 4), jumper wire (6), and nut (5), from the isolation valve (1).
