(a) Make sure the status message ENG X REVERSER does not show on the EICAS display.

Connect a jumper wire between pins 3 and 2 of the electrical connector for the hydraulic pressure switch (pin 2 is electrical ground).

Erase the status message ENG X REVERSER on the EICAS display (AMM 31-61-00/201).
(a) Make sure the status message ENG X REVERSER does not come back on the EICAS display.

(3) Open these circuit breakers on the Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel, P7, and attach the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
