Install the protection plugs and covers on the lines and the ports.
(e)
Remove the three bolts (11) and washers (12) which attach the DCV (2) to the strut bracket.
(f)
Disconnect the bonding strap (3) from the DCV (2).
NOTE: The bonding strap (3) is found below the forward
____
hydraulic connection.
(g)
Remove the DCV (2) and the extend flow control tee (1) from the strut.
(h)
Remove the flow control tee (1) from the DCV (2)

(5) AIRPLANES WITH ONE-WAY VALVE RESTRICTORS; remove the DCV from the strut (Fig. 401).
(a)
Loosen the clamp for the hydraulic extend and retract lines.
(b)
Disconnect the tee assembly for the hydraulic extend and retract lines (1A and 4A).
NOTE: Do not disconnect the one-way valve restrictors from the
____
reducer tee.
1) Loosen the swivel nuts for the reducer tees on the flow control tee. 2) If necessary, loosen the tube nuts and remove the tee assembly (AMM 78-34-02/401). 3) Install the protection plugs and covers on the lines and the ports.
(c)
Remove the three bolts (11) and washers (12) which attach the DCV (2) to the strut bracket.
(d)
Remove the bonding strap (3) from the forward face of the DCV (2).
(e)
Remove the DCV (2) from the strut.

(6) Remove the union (9) and the packing (10) from the hydraulic pressure and return ports.
(a) Discard the packing (10).

(7) Remove the union (7) and the packing (8) from the hydraulic retract port.
(a) Discard the packing (8).

(8) Remove the bonding strap (3) from the strut structure if it is necessary.
