Do the deactivation procedure for the Speed Brake Control System (AMM 27-62-00/201).

Make sure the forward thrust levers are in the idle position and the reverse thrust levers are fully forward.
(a) Install the DO-NOT-OPERATE tags on the forward and reverse thrust levers.

Manually extend the thrust reverser (AMM 78-31-00/201).
(a) Make sure the thrust reverser sleeve is approximately one to two inches to the rear in the deployed direction.
