(c) When the interlock actuator is fully retracted, remove the power source and the ground connections from the electrical connector.

(3) Loosen the nut on the adjustable rod end of the interlock actuator.

(4) Set the dimension between the bolt hole centerlines of the adjustable and fixed actuator rod ends to 4.430 | 0.015 inches (Fig. 501).

(5) Tighten the nut on the adjustable rod end of the interlock actuator. (a) Put the lockwire on the adjustment nut.

(6) Do these steps to motor the interlock actuator to the extend position: (a) Connect a 28 volt dc power source to pin 8 of the electrical connector that attaches to the applicable interlock actuator: 1) DM 7986 ENG 1 2) DM 7987 ENG 2 3) DM 7988 ENG 3 4) DM 7989 ENG 4 (b) Ground pins 6 and 10 of the applicable electrical connector: 1) DM 7986 ENG 1 2) DM 7987 ENG 2 3) DM 7988 ENG 3 4) DM 7989 ENG 4 (c) When the interlock actuator is fully extended, remove the power source and the ground connections from the electrical connector.

(7) Make sure the dimension between the bolt hole centerlines of the adjustable and fixed rod ends is 5.230 | 0.015 inches (Fig. 501).
NOTE:____ If the dimension is not correct, do the adjustment procedure again.

THRUST REVERSER ISOLATION VALVE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. This procedure gives the instructions to remove and install the isolation valve for the thrust reverser. You must remove the pressure from the applicable main hydraulic system before you do one of these tasks.
B. When you remove the isolation valve installation on the outboard strut, you must remove the no. 4 forward strut fairing to get access to the isolation valve. When you remove the isolation valve installation on the inboard strut, you must remove the no. 3 forward strut fairing to get access to the isolation valve.
