F. Install the Isolation Valve for the Thrust Reverser (Fig. 401)

Make sure you release the pressure from the main hydraulic system.

Make sure the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags are on the thrust levers.

Make sure the isolation valve has the pressure switch and solenoid valve installed.

Install the reducer (9) and gasket (10) on the hydraulic port of the isolation valve with the mark "RETURN OUT".

Install the restrictor (11) and gasket (10) on the hydraulic port of the isolation valve with the mark "CONTROL IN".

Install the unions (7) and packings (8) on the hydraulic ports of the isolation valve with the marks, "PRESSURE IN" and "RETURN OUT".

If it is necessary, install the jumper wire (6) with the steps that follow:
(a)
Remove the screw (12) from the valve solenoid.
(b)
Install the jumper wire (6) between the two washers (3 and 4) on the valve solenoid with the screw (12).

(8) Install the isolation valve (1) with the steps that follow:
(a)
Align the isolation valve (1) on the bracket.
(b)
Install the two mounting bolts (2), washers (4), and nuts (5).

Make sure the maximum resistance across the bond of the mounting bolt and jumper wires with the structure is 0.0025 ohms.

Fill the applicable hydraulic system reservoir with the hydraulic fluid (Ref 12-12-01/301).
