Loosen the swivel nut for the reducer tee (8).

Remove the reducer tee (8) and elbow (9) from the DCV.


 NOTE: Keep the elbow (9) installed on the reducer tee (8) unless it

 is defective.

Remove the elbow (9) from the reducer tee (8) if it is defective.

 (7)  
Remove the union (6) and the packing (7) from the hydraulic retract port on the DCV.


 (a)  Discard the packing (7).

Install protective caps on all hydraulic tubes and DCV ports.

Remove the Extend Flow Control Tee for the Thrust Reverser.


 NOTE: The flow control tee can be removed when the DCV is removed from

 the strut (AMM 78-34-01/401).

Remove the Retract Flow Control Tee from the lower, forward face of the DCV.

 S 024-019-N01

 (2)  
Loosen the tube nut on the hydraulic extend lines (1).

 (3)  
Move the hydraulic tube nuts forward.

 NOTE: This will provide room to remove the flow control tee without

 removing the elbow.

Remove the control tube for the baro switch.

Remove the flow control tee from the DCV.

 (7)  
Remove the nut (3), packing (4), and retainer (5) from the extend port on the DCV.


 (a)  Discard the packing (4).

 (8) Install protective caps on all hydraulic tubes and DCV ports.
