Disconnect the restrictor valve (8) from the elbow (12) if it is defective.

Loosen the swivel nut for the reducer tee (9).

Remove the reducer tee (9) and restrictor valve (8) from the DCV.


 NOTE: Keep the restrictor valve (8) installed on the reducer

 tee (9) unless it is defective.

Disconnect the restrictor valve (8) from the reducer tee (9) if it is defective.

 Remove the union (10) and the packing (11) from the DCV.


 (a)  Discard the packing (11).

Remove the Extend Flow Control Tee for the Thrust Reverser (Fig. 401).

Move the tube nuts forward.

 (a)  Discard the packing (5).
