1 Executive Summary
This document has been prepared by the ISPACG Data Link Working Group to provide a description to operational
users of FANS-1/A datalink on the system elements that enable FANS-1/A.
The main purpose of this document is to provide operational users (pilots, air traffic controllers, and operational
management) with a single source description of the current FANS-1/A environment.
This will provide the operational users with a better understanding of the system including current constraints and
