4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If the fault symptom is identified by the maintenance message on the face of the ISIS indicator: WRG:PARITY PIN-PROG/ISIS(22FN-10FC) and by the white flag on the face of the ISIS indicator: MAINT
- remove the IND-ISIS (22FN) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-22-25-000-001)
- do a check of pins A/b, c, d, e, k, m, p, s, r on the rack connector
- compare the state of the pins A/b, c, d, e, k, m, p, s, r with the pin programming given in the ASM (Ref. ASM 34-22/02).
(1) If the pin programming is incorrect:
- repair the aircraft wiring (Ref. ASM 34-22/02)
- install the IND-ISIS (22FN) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-22-25-400-001).
(2) If the pin programming is correct:
- replace the IND-ISIS (22FN) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-22-25-000-001) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-22-25-400-001).

Failure of the ILS Receiver 1
1. Possible Causes
_______________
- RECEIVER-ILS, 1 (2RT1)
- short to ground at the wiring between the circuit breaker (1RT1) and the ILS receiver 1 (2RT1)
- C/B-ILS/1 (1RT1)
2. Job Set-up Information

A. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) closed:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------PANEL DESIGNATION IDENT. LOCATION -------------------------------------------------------------------------------49VU NAV/ILS/1 1RT1 G12
B. Test
(1) If the circuit breaker (1RT1) trips, refer to Para. 4. C. of this trouble shooting procedure.
(2) Do the BITE test of the ILS (system 1) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-36-00-740-002).
- If the BITE test is not possible, refer to Para. 4. B. of this trouble shooting procedure.
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If the circuit breaker (1RT1) is closed, and if the BITE test gives the maintenance message ILS 1(1RT1):
- replace the RECEIVER-ILS, 1 (2RT1) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-36-31-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-36-31-400-001).
B. If the circuit breaker (1RT1) is closed and if the BITE test is not possible
- do a check for 115VAC at pin AC/2 of the ILS receiver 1.
(1) If there is no 115VAC:
- do a check of the wiring of the 115VAC signal from circuit breaker (1RT1) to ILS receiver 1 (2RT1) (Ref. ASM 34-36/01).
(a) If there is no continuity:
- repair the above wiring.
(b) If there is continuity:
- replace the C/B-ILS/1 (1RT1).
(2) If there is 115VAC:
- do a check of the wiring of the ground signal at ILS receiver 1 pin AC/3.
(a) If there is no continuity:
- repair the above wiring.
C. If the circuit breaker (1RT1) is open:
- close this circuit breaker.
(1) If the circuit breaker (1RT1) trips:
- remove the RECEIVER-ILS, 1 (2RT1) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-36-31-000-001).
- close the circuit breaker (1RT1).
(a) If this circuit breaker stays closed:
- install the ILS receiver 1 (Ref. AMM TASK 34-36-31-400-001)
1 If the circuit breaker trips again:
_
- replace the ILS receiver 1 (Ref. AMM TASK 34-36-31-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-36-31-400-001).
(b) If this circuit breaker trips again:
- do a check for a short to ground at the wiring between the circuit breaker (1RT1) and the ILS receiver 1 (2RT1) (Ref. ASM 34-36/01).
1 If there is a short to ground:
