A. If the test gives the maintenance message CFDIU(1TW)/MMR2(40RT2):
- replace the MMR-2 (40RT2) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-36-31-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-36-31-400-002).
(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring of the CFDS DATA INPUT bus between the MMR2 (40RT2) and the first terminal block for pins AB/1E, 1F of the MMR2 (Ref. ASM 34-36/01).
B. Do the test given in para. 3.

- MMR-1 (40RT1)
- LGCIU-1 (5GA1)
- FMGC-1 (1CA1)
- wiring between the MMR1(40RT1) and the LGCIU1(5GA1)
- wiring between the MMR1(40RT1) and the FMGC1(1CA1)

A. If the test gives the maintenance message
LGCIU1(5GA1)/FMGC1(1CA1)/ MMR1(40RT1):
- do a check for a short to ground at pins AB/4AD, 15F of the MMR-1 (Ref. ASM 34-36/01).
(1) If there is no short to ground:
- replace the MMR-1 (40RT1) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-36-31-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-36-31-400-002).
(2) If there is a short to ground at pin AB/4A:
- replace the LGCIU-1 (5GA1) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-71-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-71-400-001).
(a) If there is a short to ground at pin AB/4A:
- do a check and repair the wiring between the MMR1(40RT1) and the LGCIU1(5GA1) for pin AB/4A and pin AB/6D (Ref. ASM 34-36/01).
(3) If there is a short to ground at pin AB/15F:
- replace the FMGC-1 (1CA1) (Ref. AMM TASK 22-83-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 22-83-34-400-001).
(a) If there is a short to ground at pin AB/15F:
- do a check and repair the wiring between the MMR1(40RT1) and the FMGC1(1CA1) for pin AB/15F and pin AB/9A (Ref. ASM 34-36/01).
B. Do the test given in para. 3.
