 4. Fault Isolation
_______________
 A. If the fault symptom is identified by the maintenance message on the face of the ISIS indicator: ADIRU3(1FP3) BUS IR/ISIS(22FN-10FC)
 - do the interface test of the IR (system 3) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-14-00-740-001).
 (1) If the test gives a maintenance message, do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.

 (2) If the test is OK:


 - do a check of the wiring of the ADIRU 3 BUS 2 IR from the ISIS indicator (22FN) to the ADIRU 3 (1FP3) (Ref. ASM 34-22/02).
 (a) If there is no continuity:
 - replace the defective wiring.

 - replace the IND-ISIS (22FN) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-22-25-000-001) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-22-25-400-001).
 1_ After the subsequent flight, if the fault continues:
 - replace the ADIRU-3 (1FP3) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-12-34-000-001)
 (Ref. AMM TASK 34-12-34-400-001).

 A. If the fault symptom is identified by the maintenance message on the face of the ISIS indicator: WRG:MODE DISCRETE/ISIS(22FN-10FC) and by the white flag on the face of the ISIS indicator: MAINT
 - remove the IND-ISIS (22FN) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-22-25-000-001)

 - do a check of pins A/X, h, a on the rack connector

 - make sure that there is an open circuit between pins A/X, h, a.


 (1) If the pin programming is incorrect:

 - repair the aircraft wiring (Ref. ASM 34-22/02)

 - install the IND-ISIS (22FN) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-22-25-400-001).

 

 (2) If the pin programming is correct:


 - replace the IND-ISIS (22FN) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-22-25-000-001) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-22-25-400-001).
