A. Test
(1) Do the operational test of the standby compass (Ref. AMM TASK 34-22-00-710-001).
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If the standby compass shows out of tolerance values:
- do the adjustment/test of the standby compass (Ref. AMM TASK 34-22-00-730-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- replace the COMPASS-STANDBY (2FN) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-22-23-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-22-23-400-001).
Failure of the Standby Horizon Indicator
1. Possible Causes
_______________
- IND-STANDBY HORIZON (7FN)
- wiring of the 28VDC signal from the circuit breaker (5FN) to the standby horizon indicator (7FN)
- wiring of the ground signal at the standby horizon indicator (7FN)
- C/B-NAV/STBY/HORIZON (5FN)

4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If the circuit breaker (5FN) is closed and if the flag is shown on the standby horizon indicator:
- do a check for 28VDC at the standby horizon indicator (7FN).
(1) If there is 28VDC:
- replace the IND-STANDBY HORIZON (7FN) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-22-24-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-22-24-400-001).
(2) If there is no 28VDC:
- do a check of the wiring of the 28VDC signal from the circuit breaker (5FN) to the standby horizon indicator (7FN)
- do a check of the wiring of the ground signal at the standby horizon indicator (7FN), pin A/B (Ref. ASM 34-22/01).
(a) If there is no continuity:
- repair the above wirings.
(b) If there is continuity:
- replace the C/B-NAV/STBY/HORIZON (5FN).
B. If the circuit breaker (5FN) is open and if the flag is shown on the standby horizon indicator:
- close this circuit breaker.
(1) If the circuit breaker (5FN) trips:
- replace the IND-STANDBY HORIZON (7FN) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-22-24-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-22-24-400-001).
(a) If the fault continues:
- do a check for a short to ground from the circuit breaker (5FN) to the standby horizon indicator (7FN) (Ref. ASM 34-22/01).
1_ If there is a short to ground:
- repair the above wiring.
2_ If there is no short to ground:
- replace the C/B-NAV/STBY/HORIZON (5FN). 中国航空网 www.aero.cn 航空翻译 www.aviation.cn 本文链接地址:A320 Trouble Shooting Manual 排故手册 导航 NAVIGATION 2(93)
