 A. Installation of the TPIS Detection Unit
 (1)
 Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

 (2)
 Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

 (3)
 Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.

 (4)
 Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.

 (5)
 Install the TPIS detection unit (1) on its rack (3).

 (6)
 Push the TPIS detection unit (1) on its rack (3) to connect the electrical connectors (2).

 (7)
 Engage the nuts (4) on the lugs (5) and tighten.

 (8)
 Make sure that the OBRMs are correctly installed. If they are not installed correctly, push the OBRMs until the locking devices are locked.

 A. Nose Wheel Steering
 (Ref. Fig. 001)
 Nose wheel steering is possible from the cockpit as follows:

 (1) During taxi, and more generally at low speed, through action on a handwheel. There are two identical handwheels: one for the Captain, one for the First Officer. In the event of simultaneous operation, the orders that the handwheels give are algebraically added. The maximum travel of the wheels is plus or minus 74 deg. The maximum corresponding travel of the handwheel is plus or minus 75 deg. However, the law between these two travels is not linear.
