A. Removal of the Fan Assy
(1)
Remove the screws (21) and the washers (20).
(2)
Remove the guard assy (22). NOTE : Remove the guard assy (22) along the centerline of the axle so
____ that you do not cause damage to the splines (12).
(3)
Remove the impeller (24)
Pre SIL 32 - 095
-Cut and remove the lockwire and discard it, then hold the impeller
(24) with DISASSEMBLY TOOL (MG174-04) and loosen the nut (23). Pull axially on the impeller.
-Remove the impeller (24).
Post SIL 32 - 095
-Cut and remove the lockwire and discard it
-Hold the impeller (24) with DISASSEMBLY TOOL (MG174-04), remove the nut (23) and the washer (51).
-Pull axially on the impeller (24) and remove it.
(4)
Disconnect the electrical connector (29) from the plug (11) and put the blanking caps in position.

Attach the connector (29) and the cable (38) to the wheel with a
cord.

Remove the screws (18).
(7)
Remove the shroud (25).
(8)
Loosen the screw (28) and remove the collar (15).
(9)
Remove the joint (16).
(10)
Remove the cotter pins (30) and discard them. Remove the nuts (31), the washers (32) and the bolts (14).
(11)
Remove the mounting fixture assy (10). NOTE : When you remove the mounting fixture assy (10), do not cause

damage to the electrical cables.
NOTE : Do not apply pressure against the rotating components of the
____
pressure transducer (13).
(12)
Disconnect the connector (33) from the pressure transducer connector
(36) and put the blanking cap in position.
(13)
Cut and remove the lockwire and discard it, then remove the nut (34).
