3. Job Set-up

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
In the cockpit, on the panel 400VU, make sure that the warning notice(s) is (are) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear control lever.
(2)
Make sure that safety barriers are in position.
(3)
Make sure that the PARK BRK control switch is in the OFF position.
(4)
Make sure that the chocks are installed on the wheels of the main landing gear.
(5)
Make sure that the nose gear is lifted (Ref. TASK 07-12-00-582-001).
(6)
Make sure that the tire is fully deflated (Ref. TASK 12-14-32-614-001).

A. Preparation before Installation
(1)
Clean the shaft (2) with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-002). Dry it with clean, dry compressed air.
(2)
Apply a thin layer of COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-004) to the shaft (2).

B. Installation of the Pressure Transducer
(1)
Install the new preformed packing (3) on the shaft (2).
(2)
Install the pressure transducer (4) on the shaft (2). NOTE : Make sure that the pressure transducer (4) is in the correct
____
position.
(3)
Install the nut (6) and tighten it.
(4)
TORQUE the nut (6) to between 0.3 and 0.9 m.daN (26.54 and 79.64 lbf.in).
(5)
Safety the nut (6) with the cotter pin (5).
(6)
Install the grommet (11) on the cable of the pressure transducer (4).
(7)
Remove the blanking cap from the connector (12) and connect the electrical connector.
(8)
Install the grommet (11). Put the cover (7) in position.
Install the drive (8) in its housing.
(9)
Install the washers (10) and the screws (9).
(10)
Tighten the screws (9) and safety them with the corrosion resistant steel lockwire dia 0.8 mm (0.032 in.).
(11)
Inflate the tire (Ref. TASK 12-14-32-614-001).

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1GV

(1) Do the functional test of the Tire Pressure Indicating System (Ref. TASK 32-49-00-720-001).
5. Close-up

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1)
Lower the aircraft on its wheels (Ref. TASK 07-12-00-582-001).
(2)
Remove the safety barriers.
(3)
Remove the warning notice(s).
(4)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
