R You can use Material No. 04-022 as an alternative to
R Material No. 04-004. Clean and degrease the parts before
R you use Material No. 04-022.
R (c) Put the other steel plate on the top of the greased steel plate.
R (d) Move the aircraft and position the nosewheels on the greased
R steel plates (Ref. TASK 09-10-00-584-002).
R (4) If the test is to be done with the nose wheels clear of the ground do
R this:
R (a) Lift the nose gear (Ref. TASK 07-12-00-582-001).
R NOTE : Use only a compact axle jack to lift the nose gear.____
R (5) On the nose gear leg, on the electrical box, make sure that the
R towing lever is in the normal position (engaged position).
R (6) On the panel 400VU, make sure that the landing gear control lever is
R in the DOWN position.
R (7) On the panel 402VU, make sure that the ANTI SKID NOSE WHEEL switch is
R in the ON position.
R (8) Do the EIS start procedure (Upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
R (Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
R (9) On the ECAM control panel, push the WHEEL pushbutton switch.
R (10) Make sure that the rudder pedals and the two nose-wheel steering
R handwheels are in the neutral position.

A. Test

1. Turn the handwheel fully (75.) to the right or the left. - if the steering is correct (movementof the wheels = 75 deg), there is no warning - if the steering is not correct: .the WHEEL NW STEER FAULT indication
comes into view on the upper ECAM DU. .the NW STEER indication comes into
view on the lower ECAM DU.
2. If there are warnings, on the MCDU push the line key adjacent to the BSCU 1 indication. - the BSCU SYS 1 page comes into view.
3. Push the line key adjacent to the GND SCAN indication. - The BSCU SYS1 GROUND SCANNING pagecomes into view and shows the fault
message that relates to the defective equipment (LRU).
NOTE : Either the steering feedback____ sensor (3GC or 4GC) or the
