TORQUE the screws (31) to between 0.2 and 0.25 m.daN (17.69 and 22.12 lbf.in).

Put in position the housing (12) on the motor (32) and install the
washers (34) and the screws (33).
(6)
TORQUE the screws (33) to between 0.25 and 0.3 m.daN (22.12 and 26.54 lbf.in).
(7)
Put in position the electrical connector (36) on the housing (12) and install the nut (35).Tighten the nut (35).
(8)
Remove the blanking caps.
(9)
Connect the connector (3) to the connector (36) and put the plate (2) in position on the housing (12).
(10)
Install the screws (4) and TORQUE them to between 0.08 and 0.1 m.daN
(7.07 and 8.84 lbf.in).
(11)
Remove the blanking caps and connect the connector (1) to the tachometer (5).
(12)
Apply a thin layer of COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-022) in the axle along a length of 100 mm (3.9370 in.) approx..

Install the motor assy (6) in the axle. Do not use force. NOTE : Make sure that the pads of the motor assy (6) are in the
____
correct condition.
NOTE : During installation, put the electrical cables in the correct
____
position.
(14) Attach the motor assy (6) with the bolts (8), the washers (9) and the nuts (10).
NOTE : Install the bolts (8) so that their heads are turned to the
____
inner side of the axle.
(15) TORQUE the nuts (10) to between 0.40 and 0.45 m.daN (35.39 and 39.82 lbf.in) and then safety them with the new cotter pin (11).

B. Installation of the Impeller and Shroud Assy
(1) Install the joint (20) and the collar (23).
NOTE : The locating pin (24) puts the joint (20) in the correct
____ position. It locks the joint so that it cannot turn on the wheel.
(2) Install the nut (22) and TORQUE to between 0.28 and 0.34 m.daN (24.77 and 30.08 lbf.in).
NOTE : The pins (21) set the shroud (19) in the correct position.
____
(3) Install the shroud (19) on the joint (20) and make sure that the valve is correctly engaged in the grommet.
NOTE : The shroud (19) must touch the wheel around all its
____
circumference.
(4)
Install the impeller (18)
-Apply a thin layer of COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-003) on the drive shaft of the impeller and on the thread of the nut (16).
-Put the impeller (18) in position. Engage the splines.
-Install the washer (17) and the nut (16).
-Lock the impeller (18) with the DISASSEMBLY TOOL (MG174-04) and TORQUE the nut (16) to between 3.1 and 3.4 m.daN (22.86 and 25.07 lbf.ft). Safety the nut with corrosion resistant steel lockwire dia. 0.8 mm (0.03 in.).
-Make sure that the impeller (18) turns freely.
(5)
Clean the splines with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-002).
(6)
Apply a thin layer of COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-003) on the splines (7) and on the splines of the guard assy.
(7)
Install the guard assy (15) on the shroud (19) and the joint (20).
NOTE : The debris guard has holes of different diameters:
____
-large diameter (two): to put the locating pins in the correct position. Same holes on the shroud assy (centering function)
-small diameter (four): to put the four attachment screws in the correct position.

correct position.
NOTE : During the installation, be careful to correctly engage the

splines (7) in the guard assy (15).
(8) Install the screws (13) and the tab-washers (14) and then TORQUE the screws (13) to between 1.6 and 1.9 m.daN (11.79 and 14.01 lbf.ft).
(9) Safety the screws (13) with the tab-washers (14). Subtask 32-48-51-865-065
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1GS, 2GS, 3GS
