A. Safety Precautions
(1)
Put the safety barriers in position.
(2)
Make sure that the ground safety locks are on the landing gear (Ref. TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(3)
On the panel 400VU:
-make sure that the landing-gear control-lever 6GA is in the DOWN position
-put a warning notice in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.

A. Removal of the Brake Temperature Monitoring Unit
(1)
Move the rubber shields (4) sufficiently to get access to the electrical connectors (6).
(2)
Disconnect the electrical connectors (6) from the brake temperature sensors (5).
(3)
Move the rubber shield (10) sufficiently to get access to the electrical connector (9).
(4)
Disconnect the electrical connector (9) from the brake temperature monitoring unit (11).
(5)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(6)
Put blanking caps on the brake temperature sensor (5) connector receptacles.
(7)
Put a blanking cap on the monitoring unit (11) connector receptacle.
(8)
Remove the nuts (8), the washers (7) and the bolts (1). Remove the monitoring unit (11) from the bracket (2).

Move the rubber shields (3) sufficiently to get access to the electrical connectors (5).
(2)
Disconnect the electrical connectors (5) from the brake temperature sensors (4).

Move the rubber shield (9) sufficiently to get access to the electrical connector (8).
(4)
Disconnect the electrical connector (8) from the brake temperature monitoring unit (10).
(5)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(6)
Put blanking caps on the brake temperature sensor (4) connector receptacles.
(7)
Put a blanking cap on the monitoring unit (10) connector receptacle.
(8)
Remove the nuts (7), the washers (6) and the bolts (1). Remove the monitoring unit (10) from the bracket (2).
