(4) On the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS menu page comes into view.
(5) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
(6) If the front of the aircraft is lifted off the ground, lower the aircraft to the ground (Ref. TASK 07-11-00-586-001).
(7) If the nosewheels are on grease plates, move the aircraft to remove the grease plates (Ref. TASK 09-10-00-584-002).
(8) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.

NOTE : You will need two 1.2 m (3.93 ft.) square steel plates.

Position a steel plate in front of the nosewheels.
(b)
Apply a thick layer of COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-004) or COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-022) to the upper surface of the steel plate.
