A. Removal of Impeller Assy
(1)
Remove the screws (8) and the washers (7).
(2)
Remove the guard assy (9). NOTE : Remove the guard assy (9) along the centerline of the axle so
____ that you do not cause damage to the splines (1).
(3)
Remove the impeller (10).
Pre SIL 32 - 095
-Cut and remove the lockwire and discard it, then hold the impeller
(10) with DISASSEMBLY TOOL (MG174-04) and loosen the nut (4).
-
Remove the impeller (10).
-
Remove the nut (4) from the impeller as follows: . clean the nut (4) area on the impeller (10) with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-002) and dry it with filtered compressed air. . remove the circlip (5) and the nut (4). . retain the washer (3).
Post SIL 32 - 095
-Cut and remove the lockwire and discard it
-Hold the impeller (10) with DISASSEMBLY TOOL (MG174-04), remove the nut (4) and the washer (3)

Release the tab-washers (7) and remove the screws (8).
(2)
Discard the tab-washers (7).
(3)
Remove the guard assy (6). NOTE : Remove the guard assy (6) along the centerline of the axle so

(4)
Remove the impeller (3).
-Cut and remove the lockwire and discard it
-Hold the impeller (3) with DISASSEMBLY TOOL (MG174-04), remove the nut (5) and the washer (4)
-Remove the impeller (3).
