Do the EIS start procedure (Upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only) (Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-001).

Start the engine (Ref. TASK 71-00-00-710-003) or (Ref. TASK 71-00-00-710-004).
(3)
On the ANTI ICE section of the panel 25VU:
-make sure that the ENG1(2) pushbutton switch is released (the FAULT and ON legends are off).

A. Operational Test of the Engine Air Intake Protection

1. On the ANTI ICE section of the panel 25VU: - push the ENG1(2) pushbutton switch On the ANTI ICE section of the panel25VU, on the ENG 1(2) pushbuttonswitch:- the ON legend comes on - the FAULT legend comes on for a short time during movement of the valve (the engine air intake anti ice valve opens). On the upper ECAM DU: - the ENG A.ICE message comes into view - on the MEMO section, the IGNITION
message comes into view.
2. On the ANTI ICE section of the panel 25VU: - release the ENG1(2) pushbutton switch On the ANTI ICE section of the panel25VU, on the ENG 1(2) pushbuttonswitch:- the ON legend goes off - the FAULT legend comes on for a short time during movement of the valve (the engine air intake anti ice valve closes). On the upper ECAM DU: - the messages go out of view.
