A. Deactivation of the Wing Anti-Ice Control-Valve to the CLOSED Position
WARNING : CUT, REMOVE AND DISCARD THE LOCKWIRE AS YOU DO THE TASK. LOOSE

LOCKWIRE CAN CUT OR BLIND YOU.
(1)
Remove and discard the lockwire from the bolt (1).
(2)
Manually put the indicator (2) to the CLOSED position. This puts the anti-ice control valve in the closed position.
(3)
Remove the bolt (1) from its stowage position.
(4)
Install the bolt (1) through the hole in the indicator (2) and in the anti-ice control valve.
(5) Tighten the bolt (1) and safety with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-
010).

R (1) FOR 9DL
R - remove and discard the lockwire from the locking screw (1).
R (2) FOR 10DL
R - remove and discard the lockwire from the locking plate (6).
R (3) FOR 9DL
R - make sure that the indicator (2) is in the CLOSED position. If
R necessary, move the indicator (2) to the CLOSED position by hand.
R (4) FOR 10DL
R - make sure that the bolt (4) is adjacent to the CLOSED indication on
R the valve body. If necessary, move the rod (5) so that the bolt (4)
R is adjacent to the CLOSED indication.
R (5) FOR 9DL
R - remove the locking screw (1) from its stowage position.
R (6) FOR 9DL
R - install the locking screw (1) through the locking hole in the
R indicator (2) and in the anti-ice control valve
R - safety the locking screw (1) with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-
R 010).
R (7) FOR 10DL
R - move the locking plate (6) to engage and lock the rod (5)
R - safety the locking plate (6) with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-
R 010).
