On the ANTI ICE part of the panel 25VU, make sure that the ENG 1(2) pushbutton switch is pushed. (On the pushbutton switch, the ON legend is on).
(3)
Put a warning notice in position in the cockpit. This tells persons that the anti ice valve is deactivated in the open position.

A. Safety Precautions
(1)
On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2)
Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3)
On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a)
Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b)
Put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
R (4) On the ANTI ICE section of the panel 25VU:
R (a) Release the ANTI ICE/ENG 1(2) pushbutton switch (the ON legend R goes off).

On the anti ice valve 4000DN, remove the pin that locks the manual override control.
(2)
Install the locking pin in the transportation hole which is in the valve.
