A. Preparation for Installation
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026).
(2)
Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area. R **ON A/C 001-049, 051-099, 101-149, 151-199, 201-299, 401-499,

B. Installation of the Anti-ice Valve Filter
(1)
Remove the blanking cap from the anti-ice control valve.
(2)
Lubricate the new O-ring (3) and the new O-ring (5) with LUBRICANTS (Material No. 06-012).
(3)
Install the new O-ring (5) on the filter (4).
(4)
Install the filter (4) into the anti-ice control valve.
(5)
Install the new O-ring (3) on the cap (2).
(6)
Install the cap (2) and the cap (1).
(7) Safety the caps (1) and (2) with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010).

R (1) Remove the blanking plug from the anti-ice control valve.
R R (2) Use LUBRICANTS (Material No. 06-012) to lubricate the new O-ring (1) and the new O-ring (2).
R (3) Install the new O-ring (1) and the new O-ring (2) on the filter.
R (4) Install and tighten the filter (3).
R (5) Install and tighten the blanking cap (4).
