 A. Reactivation of the Anti Ice Valve
 (1)
 On the anti ice valve 4000DN, remove the pin that locks the manual override control.

 (2)
 Install the lock-pin in the transportation hole which is in the valve.

 B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): FOR 1000EM1 1DN1, 2KS1, 4KS1, 2JH1, 3JH1 FOR 1000EM2 1DN2, 2KS2, 4KS2, 2JH2, 3JH2

 C. Do the trouble-shooting of the engine air-intake ice-protection system (Ref. TSM 30 PB 101) and do the necessary repair procedure(s).

 A. Safety Precautions
 (1)
 On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:

 (a) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine.

 (2)
 Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes befor you do this procedure.

 (3)
 On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:

 (a)
 Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.

 (b)
 Put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

 

 


R (4) On the ANTI ICE section of panel 25VU:
R (a) Release the ANTI ICE/ENG 1(2) pushbutton switch. (on the R pushbutton switch, the ON legend goes off).

 A. Deactivation of the Anti Ice Valve CAUTION : DO NOT APPLY A TORQUE OF MORE THAN 200 LBF.IN. WHEN YOU OPEN OR
_______ CLOSE THE VALVE MANUALLY. HIGH TORQUE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE INTERNAL SHAFT IN THE VALVE. IF THE VALVE DOES NOT OPEN OR CLOSE WHEN YOU APPLY THE SPECIFIED TORQUE, YOU MUST DO AN OVERHAUL OF THE VALVE.
