A. Removal of the Wing Anti-Ice Control Valve
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connectors (8), (9) and (10).
(2)
Remove the coupling (3) from the anti-ice valve (2) and move the duct
(4) outboard.
(3)
Hold the anti-ice valve (2) and remove the coupling (1). Move the anti-ice valve (2) outboard to disconnect the locating pin (6) and lower the anti-ice valve from its location.
(4)
Put blanking caps on:
-the open ends of the anti-ice ducts (4) and (11)
-the electrical connectors (7), (8), (9) and (10).

A. Removal of the Wing Anti-Ice Control Valve
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connectors (5), (6) and (7).
(2)
Remove the clamp (3) and move the duct (4) away from the anti-ice control valve (2).
(3)
Hold the anti-ice control valve (2) and remove the clamp (1).
(4)
Move the anti-ice control valve (2) sideways to disconnect the location pin (8) and remove the anti-ice control valve (2).
(5)
Put blanking caps on:
-
the open ends of the anti-ice ducts (4) and (9)
-
the electrical connectors (5), (6) and (7)
-
the electrical connectors and the openings on the anti-ice control valve (2).

WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE PNEUMATIC SYSTEM IS DEPRESSURIZED BEFORE YOU

START WORK ON THE PNEUMATIC SYSTEM.
(1) Make sure that the warning notices are in these positions before you do work on the ice protection system: - on the high-pressure ground-power connections, to tell persons not
to pressurize the pneumatic system
-in the cockpit, to tell persons not to operate the engines or APU control switch - on the panel 30VU, to tell persons not to pressurize the bleed air system
- on the panel 115VU, to tell persons not to operate the slat controls.
(2) Make sure that he safety barriers are in position.
