Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at the opening of the AFT cargo-compartment door. (3)

Put the WARNING NOTICE on the control panel of the FWD cargo loading system to tell persons not to use it.

C. Remove the applicable Panels in the Cargo Compartments
(1)
Remove the FWD cargo-compartment partition at FR24 (Ref. TASK 25-54-11-000-001).
(2)
Remove the ceiling panels in the FWD cargo compartment (Ref. TASK 25-54-12-000-002).
(3)
Remove the ceiling panels in the AFT cargo compartment (Ref. TASK 25-55-12-000-002).
(4)
Remove the decompression panels (Ref. TASK 25-68-41-960-001).

A. Do the Repair

USE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING AND RUBBER GLOVES.
WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THERE IS A GOOD FLOW OF AIR THROUGH THE WORK
_______ AREA WHEN YOU USE SPECIAL MATERIALS. IF YOU GET ONE OF THESE MATERIALS ON YOUR SKIN, IN YOUR MOUTH OR IN YOUR EYES : -FLUSH IT AWAY WITH A FLOW OF CLEAN WATER FOR BETWEEN 10 AND 15 MINUTES. -GET IMMEDIATE MEDICAL AID IF IRRITATION OCCURS. DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES FROM THE MATERIAL. DO NOT SMOKE WHEN YOU USE THE MATERIAL. DO NOT USE THE MATERIAL NEAR A FLAME, SPARKS OR SOURCES OF HEAT. THESE MATERIALS ARE DANGEROUS : THEY ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANTS.
(1) Remove the BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-005) from the back of the flange that is damaged.

(2)
Remove the unwanted material from the flange that is damaged.
(3)
Chamfer the edges of the damage with a emery cloth, grade 80-120 .
(4)
Clean the area of the repair with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-010).
(5)
Cut 3 layers of SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-007) to the correct size.
(6)
Put a prefabricated molding block in position, to support the repair.
(7)
Prepare the BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-001). NOTE : Refer to the manufacturers instructions for the correct
____
procedure.
(8)
Put a sheet of waxed paper on the molding block.
(9)
Do the repair:
(a)
Put the first layer of SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-007) on the repair.
(b)
Apply BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-001) to the glass cloth.
(c)
Put the second layer of SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-007) on the repair.
(d)
Apply BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-001) to the glass cloth.
(e)
Put the third layer of SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-007) on the repair.
(f)
Apply BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-001) to the glass cloth.
(g)
Put a sheet of waxed paper over the repair.
(h)
Put a PLATE - PRESSURE on the repair
