(2)
Remove the screws (8).

B. Removal of the Actuator on the Foot Rest Assembly
(1)
Put the foot rest assembly (5) on a bench, with the foot rest on the top and in the stowed position.
(2)
Remove the retaining ring (1) (on the actuator rod side) and discard it.
(3)
Lightly compress the actuator (3) and disengage the actuator rod from its pin (2).
(4)
Remove only one retaining ring (1) (on actuator body side) and discard it.
(5)
Disengage the lateral pin (4).
(6)
Remove the actuator.
