R 1_ Apply BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-001C) to the repair area and the plug (2).
R 2_ Put the plug (2) in the repair.
R (g) Apply BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-025) to the repair.
(h) Apply the external doubler (1) to the repair.
R (i) Apply BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-025) to the external doubler (1).
(2) For damage larger than 50 mm (1.9685 in.) diameter. (Ref. Fig. 804/TASK 25-00-00-991-005)
R R (a) Cut out the damaged skin and core.
R R (b) Make an external doubler of SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-033) to overlap the damage by 50 mm (2.0 in.).
R R (c) Make a plug of REPAIR MATERIALS FOR COMPOSITE STRUCTURES (Material No. 20-003) to fit in the repair.
R (d) Clean the area of the repair with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-010) and a lint-free cloth.
R (e) Apply BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-001C) to the repair and the honeycomb core.
R (f) Fill the gap around the plug (2) with BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-001C) (3).
R (g) Apply BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-025) to the area of the repair.
R (h) Apply the external doubler (1) to the repair.
R (i) Apply BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-025) to the doubler.

(3) For areas where the honeycomb has become debonded: (Ref. Fig. 805/TASK 25-00-00-991-006)
R R R NOTE : The maximum area that can be repaired is 30 mm (1.2 in.)____ diameter. If the damage is larger than this you will have to repair the damage with a patch.
(a) Drill holes in the area that is damaged.
(b) Make a compound of 85 parts BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-001C) and 15 parts SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-057) by volume.
R (c) Use a SYRINGE to fill the damaged area with the compound.
R (4) Make the repair area smooth with the emery cloth, 320-400 grade.
R R (5) Clean the repair area with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-010) and a lint-free cotton cloth MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003).
(6) Fill the areas that are not flat with BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-001).
R R (7) If necessary, make the repair area smoot with the emery cloth, 320-400 grade.
R R R (8) If necessary, clean the repair area with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-010) and a lint-free cotton cloth MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003).
