c) The WXR test pattern is displayed on the Captain’s ND.

46. Select the Left EFIS Symbol Generator by pressing the ALTN EFI alternate action switch
on the Captain’s Instrument Panel.
47. Select the Center EFIS Symbol Generator by pressing the ALTN EFI alternate action switch
on the F.O.’s Instrument Panel.
48. Ensure terrain is displayed on the F.O.‘s ND.
49. VERIFY all of the following:
a) The F.O.’s Terrain Display light/switch ON legend is illuminated.
b) The appropriate terrain is displayed on the F.O.’s ND.

50. De-select TERR mode on the F.O.‘s ND by pressing the F.O.’s Terrain Display light
51. VERIFY all of the following:
a) The F.O.’s Terrain Display light/switch ON legend is extinguished.
b) No terrain data or WXR test pattern is displayed on the F.O.‘s ND.
PASS FAIL
52. Select WXR mode on the F.O.’s ND by pressing the F.O.’s WXR Display light/switch.
53. VERIFY all of the following:
a) The F.O.’s Terrain Display light/switch ON legend is extinguished.
b) The F.O.’s WXR Display light/switch ON legend is illuminated.
c) The WXR test pattern is displayed on the F.O.’s ND.

54. Select the Right EFIS Symbol Generator by pressing the ALTN EFI alternate action switch
on the F.O.’s Instrument Panel.
55. Set the F.O.’s EFIS Control Panel range to 10 nm.

1. Select WXR #2.
2. Select TERR mode on the Captain’s EHSI by pressing the Captain’s TERR switch.
3. VERIFY the TERR on the switch is illuminated and the Captain’s EHSI shows terrain data
at the correct range.
PASS FAIL
4. VERIFY terrain or weather is NOT shown on the F/O’s EHSI.
PASS FAIL
5. Select WXR mode on the Captain’s EHSI by pressing the Captain’s WXR switch.
6. VERIFY the WXR on the switch is illuminated and the Captain’s EHSI shows the WXR self
test pattern at the correct range.

7. VERIFY terrain or weather is NOT shown on the F/O’s EHSI.
PASS FAIL
8. Deselect WXR mode by pressing the Captain’s WXR switch.
9. VERIFY that terrain or weather is NOT shown on the Captain’s display.

10. Select TERR mode on the F/O’s EHSI by pressing the F/U’s TERR switch.
11. VERIFY the TERR on the switch is illuminated and the F/O’s EHSI shows terrain data
at the correct range.

6.6 Master Dim and Test
Test Procedure:
1. Select the Master Dim and Test switch.
2. VERIFY the following lights are illuminated:
a) Captain’s TERR select switch
b) Captain’s WXR select switch
c) F/O’s TERR select switch
d) F/O’s WXR select switch
