specification, unless the certificate holder’s approved training program provides training in the
equipment and special procedures to be used.

C0061 RNP RNAV SAAAR CATEGORY I IFR APPROACHES USING APPROVED RNP RNAV AIRCRAFT
SYSTEMS
The certificate holder is authorized to conduct RNP RNAV SAAAR Category I IFR Approach into
CAAC approved airports and runways using the airplanes certified RNP RNAV systems provided the
operation is conducted in accordance with the limitations and provisions described in this operations
specification.
c. Authorized Airplanes and RNP Systems. The certificate holder must meet the required RNP
when conducting terminal instrument approaches using the following aircraft and RNP RNAV
systems in accordance to the certified Airplane Flight Manual and this Operation Specification:

Note: Currently only B2836 has been certified to operate into Lhasa, ZULS.
d. Limitations or Provisions
(1) Before commencing the final approach, the flight crew must confirmed that the RNAV
systems Actual Navigation Performance (ANP) or Estimated Position Error (EPE) is equal to
or less than the specified RNP value.
(2) After passing the Final Approach Fix, unless in VMC, the crew must execute a missed
approach in the event the ANP or EPE value exceeds the required RNP value.
(3) The Flight Director Guidance Mode sufficing to the RNP value which is specified in the
AFM must be used.
e. The certificate holder shall not conduct any operation authorized by this operations specification,
unless the certificate holder’s approved training program provides training for each flight
crewmember in the equipment and special procedures to be used.

The certificate holder is authorized to conduct RNP RNAV SAAAR Category II Approach using the
airplanes’ certified RNP RNAV systems. Below is the list of certified Airplane Systems. Operation
should be conducted in accordance with the limitations and provisions described in this operations
specification as well as a detailed study of the Airport and Runway’s Approach Procedure and
evaluation of the Airport’s Obstacle Clearance Limitation completed.

f. Limitations or Provisions
(1) The certificate holder must have continuous assessment of the RNP protection area. Any
new additions or removal of obstacles within that area will affect the lowest certified value.
(a) Whenever there are new additions or removal of obstacles discovered, the certificate
holder shall discontinue the approach procedures until further evaluation has been
