A0061 SMALL SCALE CCAR 135 OPERATOR
a. The certificate holder is authorized (in accordance with the deviation provisions of CCAR- 135
Sections 135.41(a), 135.347(a), and the conditions and limitations of this paragraph) to conduct
operations as a Small Scale CFR- 135 Operator.
b. The certificate holder is authorized to conduct operations with deviations to the following
specific Sections of CCAR- 135:
(1) The portions of an operations manual required by CCAR -135 section 135.43(d), (m), (n), (p),
(q), (r).
(2) An approved pilot training program are not required as by CCAR -135 Section 135.347,
provided the certificate holder has:
(a) An approved basic indoctrination ground training curriculum that complies with CCAR 135
Section 135.331(a)(1).
(b) An approved crewmember emergency training curriculum (including provisions for recurrent
training) which complies with CCAR-135 Section 135.331.
(c) An approved ground training curriculum for handling and carriage of hazardous materials that
complies with CCAR-135 Section 135.333.
(d) Facilities available to conduct the training specified in subparagraphs (a), (b), and (c) above.
(e) An agreement with an air carrier, air agency, or a training enterprise which includes the use of
appropriate ground and flight curriculums acceptable to the CAAC for initial, transition, upgrade,
differences, and recurrent training, as appropriate.
c. The certificate holder shall conduct all operations under CCAR-135 in accordance with the
following limitations and conditions:
(1) No more than 5 pilots, including first officer are used.
(2) No more than 5 aircraft are used.
(3) No more than 3 different types of aircraft are used. For the purpose of these operations
specifications, aircraft type has the same meaning as describe in CCAR-135 Section 135.293(b).
(4) No aircraft type certificated for more than 9 passenger seats is used.
(5) No Category II or III instrument approach operations are conducted.
(6) Area of operations authorized by the Administrator as appropriate in these operations
specifications.

A0063 CCAR -135 SMALL SCALE OPERATOR – NON SCHEDULE AND ALL CARGO OPERATIONS
The certificate holder is authorized (in accordance with the deviation provisions of CCAR-135
Sections 135.41(a), 135.347(a), and the conditions and limitations of this paragraph) to conduct only
non-schedule and all cargo operations as CFR- 135 small scale operator.
(a) The certificate holder is authorized to conduct operations with deviations to the following
specific Sections of CCAR- 135:
(1) The portions of an operations manual required by CCAR -135 Sections 135.43(d), (m), (n),
(p), (q), (r).
(2) The management personnel and positions required by CCAR- 135 Section 135.27(a),
provided the certificate holder has at least one person in a management position who meets the
qualifications of CCAR-135 Section 135.29 to serve as director of operations and one person who
meets the qualifications of CCAR-135 Section 135.29 to serve as director of maintenance. If one
person meets both criteria, the certificate holder may use that person in both positions.
(3) An approved pilot training program, as required by CCAR Section 135.347, provided the
certificate holder has:
(a) An approved basic indoctrination ground training curriculum that complies with CCAR -135
Section 135.331(a)(1).
(b) An approved crewmember emergency training curriculum (including provisions for recurrent
training) which complies with CCAR -135 Section 135.331.
(c) An approved ground training curriculum for handling and carriage of hazardous materials that
