or rerelease en route operation is a flight which is reinitiated at a predetermined redispatch or
rerelease position inflight, rather than from a departure airport.
b. The certificate holder shall not conduct planned redispatch or rerelease en route operations
unless all the following conditions are met:
(1) Separate operational analyses (which include alternate airports, the fuel required, the routes
to be flown, and the estimated times en route) must be prepared for the route of flight from the
departure airport to the destination airport specified in the original dispatch or flight release,
and for the route(s) of flight from the departure airport to the destination airport(s) specified in
the planned redispatch or rerelease.
(2) The operational analyses specified in subparagraph b.(1) above shall be provided to both the
pilot-in-command and the dispatcher (or the person designated to exercise operational control
for supplemental operations).
(3) Any planned redispatch or rerelease point must be specified in the original dispatch or flight
release and in the required operational analyses.
(4) Any redispatch or rerelease point must be a position common to the routes specified by the
operational analyses required by subparagraph b.(1).
(5) The provisions of CCAR Section 121.625(a) must be met to provide information to the pilotin-
command when designating destination and alternate airports in the planned redispatch or
rerelease.
(6) Within two hours prior to the flight's arrival at any designated redispatch or rerelease point,
and prior to executing the redispatch or rerelease, the pilot-in-command must be provided
with the additional information concerning weather conditions, ground facilities, and services
at the destination and alternate airports specified in the redispatch or rerelease as required by
Section 121.625(b). If the route of flight to be used to the new destination airport is different
from the planned route, the new route of flight must be specified.

(7) Upon reaching any redispatch or rerelease point specified in a dispatch or release, the
certificate holder shall operate the flight as dispatched or released unless the pilot-incommand
receives and explicitly accepts the redispatch or rerelease to the new destination
airport. The certificate holder shall not authorize the flight to proceed to a new destination
airport, unless the pilot-in-command of that flight forwards a message through an aeronautical
communications service specifically stating concurrence with the redispatch or rerelease.
(8) The certificate holder shall not conduct planned redispatch or rerelease en route operations
using fuel supplies less than the fuel supply required by the basic provisions of Section
121.661, without a deviation.

B0033 EXTENDED OVERWATER OPERATIONS USING A SINGLE LONG-RANGE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The certificate holder is authorized to conduct extended overwater operations using a single,
functional, approved long-range communication system (SLRCS) only within the areas of en route
operation where this paragraph is referenced in paragraph B0039 of these operations specifications.
a. Extended Overwater Operations Using a Single Long-Range Communication Systems. The
certificate holder is authorized to conduct extended overwater operations using a SLRCS in
accordance with CCAR Section 121.351, 135.173, as appropriate, in accordance with the
provisions of this operations specification.
