6. Procedure
A. Shunt installation
R (Ref. Fig. 006)
R - To install the shunts, first cut the insulators between the shunted
R studs .
R
R To do this, use an appropriate tool (cutter or equivalent).
R
R - For a one-pole terminal block, cut the insulators horizontally and
R remove them.
R - For a two-pole terminal block, cut the insulators vertically then
R horizontally and remove them.
- Install the shunt first, then install the terminal, the washer and the
nut.
- Torque the nut to the correct value.
B. Terminal installation

R When you install the terminals, make sure that:
R - The lugs are parallel with each other.
R
R - The components are correctly secured.
R - There are no modifications or disturbances in the relative positioning
R of the components to be assembled.
R - There is an identification mark (if required).
