R B. Resistor Installation on Junction Module
R (Ref. Fig. 011)
R You can install two types of junction modules (NSA937910M or ABS1438) on
R the modular terminal block NSA937910.
R The connection of a resistor E0072 RB 57/59/61 or NSA933904 ( or E0593 )
R on modules NSA937901MA20XX (non sealed) by crimping pin contacts
R NSA937910EA2000 is permitted.
R ____NOTE : Junction modules ABS1438 are supplied with integrated resistors.
R (1) Insulation
R Put insulation on each lead of the resistor with heat-shrink sleeve
R NSA937212A20 or NSA937910MB200. Do not put insulation on part of the
R lead so that you can do crimping of the contact.
R (2) Identification
R You must identify resistors with an identification sleeve NSA937201
R (as short as possible) placed on one of the resistor leads. Make sure
R that the sleeve does not prevent heat dissipation.
R (3) Connection
R For NSA937910 junction module, use pin contacts NSA937910EA2000 (Ref
R Connection Table).
R For ABS1438 junction module, use pin contacts ABS143816M2022 (Ref
R Connection Table).
R (4) Installation
R (a) Without module spacer
R After insulation sleeve installation and contact crimping,
R carefully and symmetrically bend the resistor leads so that they
R are aligned with the terminals you will connect. Connect each
R lead. The connection procedure is the same as for the wires.
R ____NOTE : You must not only fold the end of the resistor leads
R before you engage them, you must also crimp the contacts.
R (b) With module spacer
R The resistors are on each side of a plate NSA937901 P and held by
R ligature cords NSA8420.
R After insulation sleeve installation and contact crimping,
R carefully and symmetrically bend the resistor leads so that they
R are aligned with the terminals you will connect. Connect each
R lead. The connection procedure is the same as for the wires.
