R - Do the same procedure from step 2 for the other end of the splice.
R - Do a check to make sure that the splicing is correct.

R ____NOTE : EO360 is an assembly which has:
R - 2 sleeves NSA937210MBXXXX
R - 1 splice NSA936812-XX
R Two types of splice barrels can be available.
R The installation is the same.
R (1) Temperature
R Minimum operating temperature is -55 deg.C (-67.00 deg.F).
R Maximum operating temperature is 260 deg.C (500.00 deg.F).
R C. Connection Procedure
R (Ref. Fig. 002)
R (1) Insulation
R - Do the insulation with the shrinkable sleeves delivered:
R Install these sleeves on the wires before stripping.
R Shrinking is made after crimping.
R (2) Wire stripping
R - Use the applicable tool.
R - Strip the wire to the length "A" .
R (3) Crimping
R (Ref. Fig. 003)
R - Use the applicable crimping tool related to the splice reference
R number.
R - Make sure that the insulation sleeves are on the wires.
R - Put one end of the splice in the crimping tool die.
R - Make sure that the splice is in the correct position against the
R positioner.

R ____NOTE : Depending on the barrel type, the position against the
R positioner is not the same.
R - Close the crimping tool handles sufficiently to hold the splice in
R position but do not crimp at this stage.
R - Put the stripped end of the wire in the splice barrel.
R - Tightly hold the wire in the barrel.
R - Crimp the splice. To do this, fully close the tool handles until
R the safety ratchet releases.
R - Remove the splice from the crimping tool.
R - Do the same procedure from step 2 for the other end of the splice.
R ____NOTE : For barrel type 1 only, the second crimping operation must be
R done diametrically opposite to the first one.
R For barrel type 2, the two crimping operations must be along
R the brazing seam centerline and positioned on the same side.
R - Do a check to make sure that the splicing is correct.
R (4) Insulation sleeve shrinking
R - Put the sleeve 1 (the shorter sleeve) in the correct position on
R the splice.
R - Shrink the sleeve with the applicable tool.
R - Wait until the sleeve is cold.
R - Put the sleeve 2 (the longer sleeve) in the correct position on the
R splice.
R - Shrink the sleeve with the applicable tool.
R - Make sure that the sleeves are in the correct condition.
