For E0460-03 only : . Install the insulating washer against the cap. . Install the contact on the wire core against the insulating washer. Crimp with the applicable tool. . Install the assembly in the connector body. . Tighten the cap at the applicable torque. Make a red line on the connector body and the cap to show that it is tight. . Install the second heat-shrinkable sleeve on the cap, on the body. Shrink the sleeve to let the red line stay apparent.

(a) Put the heat shrinkable sleeve if necessary (for F05 or TC06 only) then the ferrule on the wire before you strip it, to prevent the deformation of the shield braid.
(b) Strip the wire. Make sure that you do not cut the shield braid strands or cause damage to the wire core.

B. Connection procedure

R (a) Strip the cable to the size "A". Make sure that you do not cut R the shield braid strand or cause damage to the wire core.
(2) Crimping procedure
(Ref. Fig. 012)
-Install in this order the cap, the washer and the seal on the wire.
-Open and comb the braid along the wire core.
-Install the braid support on the wire.
-Turn the braid above the braid support cone and cut it on the flange level.
-Strip the wire to agree with size "B" and "C".
-Solder the contact on the wire core.

Install this assembly in the body.

Install the seal and the washer.
-
Install the cap, tighten to applicable torque.
