A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. TASK 71-13-00-010-040):

E. Removal of the Oil, Hydraulic and Water Drain Tubes and Hose (Ref. TASK 71-73-49-000-006).
4. Procedure

A. Inspection of the Oil, Hydraulic and Water Tubes and Hose
(1) Examine the tube/hose and make sure that there is nothing in the tube to block the flow through the tube/hose.
(2) Examine the tube/hose to make sure that it is not cracked or dented.
(3) Examine the tube/hose for wear and corrosion.
(4) Examine the tube/hose end fittings to make sure that they are attached correctly.
(5) Examine the fittings on the two ends of the tube/hose to make sure that they are not cracked or dented.
(6) Examine the threads on the end fittings for damage.
(7) Examine the tube/hose end fittings to make sure that they are clean.
(8) If applicable, examine all welded joints for cracks, corrosion, and wear.

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2) Close the thrust reverser doors (Ref. TASK 78-36-00-410-040): FOR 1000EM1 451AL, 452AR FOR 1000EM2 461AL, 462AR
(3) Remove the access platform(s). Subtask 71-73-49-440-050
C. Make the thrust reverser serviceable (Ref. TASK 78-30-00-081-041). Subtask 71-73-49-410-052
D. Close Access
(1) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. TASK 71-13-00-410-040):
