(2) Connect the forward oil sump drain tube (20) to the fitting in the forward oil sump. Do not torque the coupling nut at this time.
(3) Connect the drain tube (20) to the manifold oil drain tube. Do not torque the coupling nut at this time.
(4) Attach the drain tube (20) to the bracket on the fan case with the clamp (5), the bolt (10), and the nut (15).
(5) Make sure that the forward oil sump drain tube (20) aligned correctly on the engine.
(6) TORQUE the nut (15) to between 20 and 25 lbf.in (0.22 and 0.28 m.daN).
(7) Torque the drain tube coupling nuts. CAUTION : USE A SECOND WRENCH TO HOLD THE FITTINGS WHEN YOU
_______ LOOSEN/TIGHTEN THE TUBE COUPLING NUTS. THIS PREVENTS DAMAGE TO THE TUBES.
(a) TORQUE the drain tube (20) coupling nuts to between 200 and 250 lbf.in (2.26 and 2.82 m.daN).

(a) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine.

(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.

A. Removal of the Reservoir to Manifold Hydraulic Oil Drain Tube
(1) Put a container 1 l (0.25 USgal) below the drain mast to catch any hydraulic oil remaining in the tube.
(2) Disconnect the reservoir to manifold hydraulic oil drain tube (5) from the drain manifold module and let the fluid drain into the container.
(3) Disconnect the drain tube (5) from the drain reservoir module.
(4) Remove the drain tube (5) from the engine.
(5) Put protective covers on the drain manifold module, the drain reservoir module, and the drain tube (5).
(6) Remove the container from below the drain mast.
