A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a warning notice is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.

(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) is off. Make sure that a warning notice is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

(1) Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open: (Ref. TASK 71-13-00-010-040) FOR 1000EM1 437AL, 438AR FOR 1000EM2 447AL, 448AR
(2) Make sure that the thrust reverser doors are open: (Ref. TASK 78-36-00-010-040) FOR 1000EM1 451AL, 452AR FOR 1000EM2 461AL, 462AR

A. Installation of the Thrust Rear Frame (TRF) Drain Tube
(1) Remove the protective covers from the TFR drain nipple and the drain tube (25).
(2) Put the clamp (20) on the drain tube (25).
(3) Connect the drain tube (25) to the TFR drain nipple. Do not torque the coupling nut at this time.
NOTE : Make sure that the tube does not touch the thrust reverser or

the core nozzle.

(4) Make sure that the drain tube (25) is in the correct position on the engine.
(5) Attach the clamp (20) to the bracket with the bolt (5), the washer
(10) and the nut (15).
(6) TORQUE the nut (15) to between 20 and 25 lbf.in (0.22 and 0.28 m.daN).
(7) TORQUE the drain tube coupling nut. CAUTION : USE A SECOND WRENCH TO HOLD THE FITTINGS WHEN YOU
_______ LOOSEN/TIGHTEN THE TUBE COUPLING NUTS. THIS PREVENTS DAMAGE TO THE TUBES.
(a) TORQUE the drain tube (25) coupling nut to between 300 and 315 lbf.in (3.39 and 3.55 m.daN).
