(5) Remove the bolt (10), the nut (15) and the clamp (5) that attach the drain tube (20) to the bracket on the transfer gearbox.
(6) Remove the drain tube (20) from the engine.
(7) Put protective covers on all the tubes and fittings.
(8) Remove the container from below the drain mast.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a warning notice is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a warning notice is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

B. Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open: (Ref. TASK 71-13-00-010-040) FOR 1000EM1 437AL, 438AR FOR 1000EM2 447AL, 448AR

A. Installation of the Fireshield to Fuel Servos Drain Tube
(1) Remove the protective covers from the fireshield fitting and the drain tubes (20) and (30).
(2) Connect the drain tube (30) to the fitting on the fireshield. Do not torque the coupling nut at this time.
(3) Connect the drain tube (30) to the drain tube (20). Do not torque the coupling nut at this time.
(4) Attach the drain tube (30) to the clamp with the bolt (25), the nut
(15) and the clamp (5).
(5) Make sure that the drain tube (30) is aligned correctly on the engine.
(6) TORQUE the nut (15) to between 20 and 25 lbf.in (0.22 and 0.28 m.daN).
(7) Torque the drain tube coupling nuts. CAUTION : USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTER TORQUE TO THE TUBES
_______ WHEN YOU CONNECT THE LOWER TUBES TO THE UPPER TUBES.
(a) TORQUE the drain tube (30) coupling nuts to between 200 and 250 lbf.in (2.26 and 2.82 m.daN).

B. Installation of the Fuel Servos Drain Tube
(1) Remove the protective covers from all the drain tubes.
(2) Connect the fuel servos drain tube (20) to the tube. Do not torque the coupling nut at this time.
(3) Connect the drain tube (20) to the heat exchanger drain tube. Do not torque the coupling nut at this time.
(4) Connect the drain tube (30) to the drain tube (20). Do not torque the coupling nut at this time.
