(5) Remove the drain manifold module (20) from the engine.
(6) Install protective covers on the drain tubes and the module.

(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a warning notice is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.

(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a warning notice is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

A. Installation of the Drain Manifold Module
(1) Remove the protective covers from the drain tubes and the drain manifold module (20).
(2) Install the manifold module (20) on the engine brackets with the bolts (5), the washers (10), and the nuts (15).
(3) TORQUE the nuts (15) to between 20 and 25 lbf.in (0.22 and 0.28 m.daN).
(4) Connect: CAUTION : USE A SECOND WRENCH TO HOLD THE FITTINGS WHEN YOU
_______ LOOSEN/TIGHTEN THE TUBE COUPLING NUTS. THIS PREVENTS DAMAGE TO THE TUBES.
(a) Connect the oil/hydraulic, the fuel, and the reservoir module tubes to the right side of the manifold module.
(b) Connect the heat exchanger, the fan case, and the oil tank scupper tubes to the left side of the manifold module.
(5) TORQUE the coupling nuts of the six drain tubes to between 300 and 315 lbf.in (3.39 and 3.55 m.daN)
(6) Remove fluids that may have collected around the manifold module and fittings with a clean lint-free cloth.

(7) Install the drain mast (Ref. TASK 71-71-42-400-041)
