(3) Connect the drain tube (20) to the drain manifold module. Do not torque the coupling nut at this time.
(4) Attach the drain tube (20) to the fan case channel with the clamp (5) and the bolt (10).
(5) Attach the drain tube (20) to the fan case bracket with the clamp (5), the bolt (10) and the nut (15).
(6) Attach the drain tube (20) to the clamp on the fan case drain tube with the clamp (5), the bolt (10) and the nut (15).
(7) Make sure that the drain tube (20) is aligned correctly on the engine.

R (8) TORQUE the bolt (10) on the fan case channel to between 20 and 25 R lbf.in (0.22 and 0.28 m.daN).
R (9) TORQUE the nuts (15) to between 20 and 25 lbf.in (0.22 and 0.28 R m.daN).
R (10) Torque the drain tube and hose coupling nuts.
R CAUTION : USE A SECOND WRENCH TO HOLD THE FITTINGS WHEN YOU
_______ R LOOSEN/TIGHTEN THE TUBE COUPLING NUTS. THIS PREVENTS DAMAGE R TO THE TUBES.
R (a) TORQUE the drain tube (20) and the drain hose (25) coupling nuts R to between 200 and 250 lbf.in (2.26 and 2.82 m.daN).

(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.

A. Removal of the Fuel Return Valve Drain Tube
(1) Put a container 1 l (0.25 USgal) below the fuel return valve drain tube (30) to catch any fuel remaining in the tube.
(2) Disconnect the drain tube (30) from the upper junction drain tube
(25) and let the fluid drain into the container.
(3) Remove the bolt (10) and the clamp (5) that attach the drain tube
(30) to the fan case bracket.
(4) Disconnect the drain tube (30) from the fuel return valve.
(5) Remove the drain tube (30) from the engine.
(6) Put protective covers on the fuel return valve and the ends of the drain tubes (25) and (30).
(7) Remove the container from below the engine.
