Training for component shops is very specific and the target groups are often very small. Therefore our component shop
related training courses provide basic as well as special knowledge required for people who are involved in the overhaul
of aircraft components.
Our training will enable the participant to understand and interpret component manuals and to work on components
related to
• aircraft mechanic systems and
• aircraft avionic systems using
• aircraft related handbooks.
Practical as well as on-the-job training (OJT) is conducted in cooperation with various departments of
Aircraft Component Services of Lufthansa Technik (LHT), the Lufthansa Technik Group or at the customer’s facilities.

Landing Gear Fundamentals FG131
Duration: 5 days
Course Objectives: The participant will be familiarised with fundamentals concerning landing gears to facilitate
the understanding and the accomplishment of work instructions.

Prerequisites: None

Rescue and Safety Fundamentals FG141
Duration: 5 days
Course Objectives: The participant will be able to understand and carry out work instructions, assessing
correctly the hazards connected to his work.

Experience within the scope of rescue & safety is desireable.

Air Conditioning & Pressurisation Fundamentals FG151
Duration: 4 days
Course Objectives: The participant will be familiarised with fundamentals concerning air conditioning &
pressurisation systems in aircraft to facilitate the understanding and the accomplishment of
work instructions.

Hydraulic System Fundamentals FG161
Duration: 4 days
Course Objectives: The course imparts knowledge concerning the design of aircraft hydraulic systems and the
function of hydraulic components.

Avionic Shops
Instruments/Avionic Systems acc. EASA Part 66, Module 11.5 FG001
Duration: 7 days
Course Objectives: The course is designed to provide knowledge requirements for Part-66 Cat. B1 licence holder.
Its design is based on the German credit system.
Target Group: Aircraft engineers
Prerequisites: Several years of experience in aircraft maintenance and type-rating on at least one aircraft type.
Practical Training / Electrical Meters 1 FG031
Duration: 3 days
Course Objectives: The participant is able to perform safe measurement of electric current, voltage & electric
resistance with different kinds of measurement devices
