Pratt & Whitney Customer Training delivers a focused learning experience to students from around the
world. Our curriculum blends classroom instruction with computer-based technologies and hands-on
engine practice. We provide comprehensive and effective training solutions at our state-of-the-art
training centers, one of our satellite network locations or on-site at a customer facility.
We support both commercial and military engine maintenance training, engineering and engine
performance courses, leadership program initiatives and educational resources. All of our courses
emphasize proactive safety, reliability, performance and quality. Self-paced online courses are available
to support your training needs.

MRO Leadership Program
Experienced maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) leadership
is key to the safety and reliability of the world fleet and the
evolving international supply chain.
The MRO Leadership Program shares knowledge, experience
and best practices with participants from various industries to
address maintenance, repair and overhaul talent in a rapidly
changing business environment.
This five-day program challenges participants to find new ways
to improve the safety and reliability of the world fleet,
drive lean operations across the enterprise, address the
complex supply chain and focus on people as key resources.
The MRO Leadership Program is offered by Pratt & Whitney
in cooperation with university professors and industry experts
and associations.
Key topics include:

• Managing a Cross-Cultural Global Workforce
• Leadership and Change Management

Content is tailored to program participants. Instructor activities
and team projects focus on topics that are critical to the MRO
industry and the role of leadership. Tours to a UTC engine
overhaul facility or part repair operation may also be provided.

Definitions for Training Levels
Level I: General Familiarization
Personnel must be familiar with current equipment and
have a general knowledge of turbine-powered transport
aircraft. Level I provides a brief overview of the airframe,
systems and power plant as outlined in the Systems
Description Section of the Aircraft Maintenance Manual.
Level II: Ramp and Transit
Personnel must be familiar with turbine-powered transport
aircraft digital electronic equipment and have experience in
ramp, transit and turnaround activity. Level II provides a
basic system overview; a description of controls, indicators
and principal components including their location; and
practical training on servicing and minor troubleshooting.
Level III: Line and Base Maintenance Training
Personnel attending Level III training should, in addition to
requirements for Levels I and II, possess the knowledge
and experience required to maintain turbine-powered
transport aircraft. Level III provides a detailed description of
the operation, component location, removal/installation and
troubleshooting procedures to maintenance manual level.
