HPD Paper Chart Editor 2.0 Released
Harness the power of the CARIS Hydrographic
Production Database (HPD) to produce
another suite of products from a single
set of source data.
CARIS presents the newest member of the
HPD product line: HPD Paper Chart Editor.
HPD now allows users to produce Paper
Charts as well as ENC’s from a single source
database. This eliminates duplication of data
compilation and maintenance when using
conventional, file-based soware tools.

Ehlers. Dr. Ehlers is
the current President
of the German
Federal Maritime
& Hydrographic
Agency (BSH). He is
also the official German
representative
at the IHO and IOC
and was Chairman
of the IHO-WEND Commiee until 2002.
A former Chairman of the Helsinki Commission,
Dr. Ehlers remains a board member of
several marine scientific institutions as well as
